We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage deliveries in a timely manner.
Experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, is highly desirable.

Duties:
- Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, securing loads appropriately for transport.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and safe for operation.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety practices and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service when delivering goods to clients.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record; a Commercial Driving Licence (C+E) is essential.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, particularly with flatbed vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Good physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.
